It gets easier and easier to lose motivation as the year goes on. So, we’re setting you a challenge to help get you moving again. The challenge
Our pledge is to complete 150 minutes of exercise a week. This may sound like a lot, or not depending on your current exercise schedule. 150 minutes a week is roughly 21 minutes of exercise every day, and if you want the weekends off, then it is 30 minutes of exercise – which could fit in nicely around your busy work schedule. It’s important to remember that this is just a minimum for our challenge, feel free to go above and beyond!
Your exercise can include anything from walking, to jogging, to weight training, to yoga – whichever way you like to get moving. How to get involved
The competition starts on the 20th of September and is running until the 3rd of October. All you need to do to get involved is tag us on Instagram in anything where you have been active with #refuelambition, or you can even use our refuel ambition filter on Instagram Stories. This will act as your entry into the competition.
Winners will be picked at random throughout the competition and will receive bespoke t-shirts and other Myprotein goodies – so it’s definitely worth sharing your activity for a chance to win!
There’ll also be the opportunity to be reposted on our Instagram page where we’ll be sharing our followers' activity as inspiration. Also, follow our Instagram to be in with a chance to win prizes at our flash sales.
We’ll be picking winners throughout the campaign so even if you miss the start, it’s not too late to get involved. *Please note prizes are UK only*
Take home message
Whether you’re lacking gym motivation, or if you’re just looking for a chance to win some Myprotein goodies, then this is the challenge for you. Just share your experiences on Instagram with #refuelambition or with our Instagram stories filter to be in with a chance of winning the prizes. Remember, you’ve got to be in it to win it. After completing an internship with Myprotein, Emily returned to university to finish her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Marketing.
With experience in lifestyle writing, Emily aims to entertain and educate through her work. Her focuses include recipes, real and inspiring stories, and working with writers to help provide easy-to-digest evidence-based research.
Her work on recipes has been previously featured in The Supplement magazine, with a particular focus on high-protein, nutritious meals, plus advice on how to properly fuel your body.
Outside of work, Emily’s top priority is food. She’s a self-professed star baker and a connoisseur of all things baked. In her spare time, she’s either cooking up a storm, our looking out for the opportunity to try out Manchester’s newest restaurants. But as a huge fan of carbs, if it’s not pasta or pasta-adjacent, she’s not interested.
If she’s not in the kitchen, she’s tucked up with a book for an early night, or you’ll find her in the gym working up a sweat. Afterall, all those carbs require quite the appetite.
