Servings:  6 portions

Cook time:  20
Ingredients
- 40 g coconut oil, melted
- 80 g Sugar-Free Syrup (Maple)
- 180 g Instant Oats
- 100 g mixed nuts
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 free-range egg whites
- 1 Crispy Layered Bar
Instructions
First, preheat the oven to 150C.
In a small bowl or cup, combine the melted coconut oil and maple syrup. Set aside.
Next, in a different bowl, add the oats, mixed nuts, cinnamon, and salt. Stir to combine, then pour in the oil and maple syrup mix and stir it through.
Add the egg whites to the mix (this is the key ingredient to make your granola clump together). Spread over a lined baking tray and then cook in the centre of a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
Meanwhile, cut a Crispy Layered Bar into small cubes. Once the granola is cooked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before sprinkling the Crispy Layered Bar bits over the top. Using your hands, crumble and mix up the granola.
Enjoy with milk, as a crunchy topping on yoghurt, or even just on its own as a satisfying snack.
