Frozen Protein Pancake Cubes

Get ready to totally transform your morning routine in a matter of minutes.

This is the ultimate time-saving breakfast hack, meaning you can enjoy a stack of freshly prepped pancakes without spending half your morning making them.

All you need is your favourite flavour of the delicious Protein Pancake Mix, some berries or chopped fruit, and a large ice cube tray. With these, you can make individual frozen portions of pancake mix that can be added to a pan whenever you fancy.

Forget weighing out ingredients or having to throw everything together when you’re tight on time. Work smart not hard, right?

Serves 1

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops Protein Pancake Mix
  • 100-150 ml milk or water
  • 1 banana (chopped)
  • Handful strawberries
  • Handful raspberries
  • Handful blueberries

Instructions

  1. First, make up the Protein Pancake Mix by adding 2 large scoops (50g) to 100-150ml of water or milk, whichever you prefer. Mix well to ensure you have a lump-free consistency and then set aside.

  2. Now prep a large ice cube tray by placing chopped fruit and berries in the bottom of each mould. Don’t overfill them — a few in each should be plenty.

  3. Pour the pancake mixture on top of the fruit so that each one is almost full. Add more fruit and berries if there’s room. Once each mould is filled, place the tray in the freezer.

  4. Now you have frozen pancakes ready to go whenever you fancy. Just take them from the freezer, pop in a heated pan with a little oil or butter, and you’re good to go.
